Tested: 2016 Mazda3 Five-Door
Hold on, so who wrote this article? It says "Published by Seyth Miersma", but doesn't he work for Autoblog? Clicking on his name opens the page of someone else, a Michael Gauthier. Same with the previous article on the Hyundai Tuscon. What is going on?

Render gone mad: Lamborghini Sinistro
This isn't much of a place to have a detailed design discussion, but in short: Egoista is singular - one prototype made, one driver, the top view shows all body lines projecting from the driver. The complicated facets, lines, and voids originate from manipulation of volumes, not just surface treatment and tack-ons. The Sinistro: Clearly based on the Gallardo, identical greenhouse and same basic volumes. Tack-ons galore. Flared arches and vents reminiscent of cheap fiberglass bodykits. Awkward resolution of curved surfaces and ridiculously sharp spikes. Spikes protrude randomly and have nothing to do with the rest of the car. Rear wing from the set of the first Fast and Furious. Again, both cars are "extreme" and neither car is beautiful, but it's clear which was done by a team of professionals.

Render gone mad: Lamborghini Sinistro
Neither this nor the Egoista are pretty, but the Egoista is a sculptural experiment in volume and surface centered around a singular idea, and this Sinistro is a glorified bodykit - a piece of amateur fan fiction that has nothing new to say about Lamborghini or automotive design. Knowing how to use 3DS Max doesn't make one a car designer, and posting a render on facebook doesn't make it a newsworthy item.

2014 BMW X5 leaked once more? Looks like the real deal
I bet it'll look a lot better in person than in photos. Right now the headlights seem way too big, but I think that'll change in person. Is anyone else seeing some Durango in it?

BMW Gran Lusso Coupe debuts at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este
I don't see the A7 at all. Besides the fact it has only 2 doors, or rather because of it, the roofline is much more sweeping, with a nice upkick in the rear. I'd say it's more akin to the z9 concept from a while back.

Six-wheeled Volvo XC60 spotted at firm's headquarters in Gothenburg
I love inside proects like this! It's just like the M3 pickup parts-runner BMW built for themselves. I wonder if Ford has a Mustang ute running around in their engineering HQ.

2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class teased [video]
Great car, but "mercedes-benz" script on the steering wheel? Come on, how many ego-stroking reminders do MB owners need? They already have the hood ornament sticking out...

2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class scale model shows what to expect
@bimmerE36, I'm not buying the performance elitism. Yes it's a land yacht, not a driver's car, and there's nothing wrong with that. Not everyone is an enthusiast and not everyone wants to drive fast, especially the people who will buy this car. They're mostly in their 50's/60's, rich executives who want to get to their big business meetings in comfort. Now that Maybach is gone the S can move up a notch and play its role better than ever.

BMW releases 3-Series Gran Turismo video presentation
This wasn't really designed for the Chinese market. China is a little skewed with all the LWB cars made especially for it. Besides, where the LWB models are luxury-focused, the 3GT is utility-focused. This is essentially BMW's way of not making MPV's and minivans.

BMW releases 3-Series Gran Turismo video presentation
It's fun to notice how few shots there are of the car's full body. The first third of the video is in the dark. Then it's a lot of detail and interior shots with very brief, and obstructed, body shots. At least they know they don't have a looker on their hands.

2014 Range Rover Sport already tweaked by Lumma Design
I don't think a bad, really bad, photoshop job constitutes a cosmetic package. Until you put actual plastic on the actual car, it's not "launched."

Not that I don't agree, but Fisker is failing right now, because it's just a pretty face. It's cramped, material quality isn't great, the ride isn't great.

BMW X4 concept officially unveiled
Just because it's a similar formula to the X6 doesn't make it a "copy-car". Every BMW has a unique face and profile. This one has some X3 cues with the X6's roofline and its own unique set of body lines. The Audi's are truly indistinguishable from one another.

BMW sales chief says X4 will broaden customer base
The X4 in many ways makes more sense than the X6. Its smaller frame can make it look muscular, but not grotesque like the X6. And the higher ride height can make the cross-coupe proportions work better than the carlike 3/5 GT

BMW promises ten all-new models by the end of 2014
The term "all-new" seems to have been stretched to amazing lenghts. Facelifted 5er? 2-door 3er? I wouldn't call those "all-new" by any means. That said, I'm really excited about the 2er coupe/cabrio. Gimme that M235i coupe!
