Lighter next-gen Opel Insignia to debut in 2017
I suspect the Insignia will replace the Malibu in the Holden line-up, hence the introduction of the Insignia VXR in AU/NZ - building the name up. The next Commodore could be the Buick Lacrosse, made in South Korea and exported. It could even become an Opel...

Audi Sport branding pilot program launched in Australia, rivals Mercedes-AMG and BMW M
Nice move by Audi. quattro gmbh was always a background name. The Audi Sport brand was never used to its potential in the past.

Audi unleashes S8 Plus with 605 PS
The R8 is already an 'RS' level car, so in theory the RS8 name belongs to the A8 lineup, if they ever wanted to use it.

Alfa Romeo Giulia QV roars its 510 PS bi-turbo V6 engine [video]
Am I the only person who has noticed that Alfa has dropped using 'Verde' everywhere when talking of the Giulia? I wonder if Quadrifoglio Verde will/has just become Quadrifoglio?

Next generation Audi A5 Coupe render shows what to expect
I'd be very surprised if Audi keeps using the supercharged V6 in the S5 and makes a new turbocharged V6 for the RS5. My bet is there will be a new turbocharged V6 with different tunes in both models.

SEAT unveils their Leon police cars for the Carabinieri & the Polizia di Stato
Obviously FCA could not better VW Group's deal. At least they went for an EU assembled car and EU based company - a lot of Police here in the UK drive Hyundais!

2016 Skoda Roomster render is probably spot on
The Roomster was quirky and cool, but that didn't translate into sales, so I fully understand the reasoning behind this. I wonder if they will drop the Roomster name?

2016 Lexus ES 350 & ES 300h get detailed
I am well aware how popular the ES is, but at the same time, if Lexus wants to be seen as a true premium brand then they need to ditch the Camry in drag and start pushing more RWD IS and GS models out there in its place. The ES isn't even a global model, whereas the IS and GS are.

SEAT Alhambra facelift brings minor styling tweaks and more efficient engines [video]
@memexe - I agree with your point, it does look very similar, like most VWs; evolutionary looks while the revolution takes place under the skin. Seems to work for VW though! (I am a VW guy but not much of a fan of MPVs)

SEAT Alhambra facelift brings minor styling tweaks and more efficient engines [video]
@memexe - if you study your link closely, you will see that the first generation (co-developed with Ford on a bespoke platform, with standing swing out rear doors) lasted from 1995-2009 in which it was facelifted twice. The second generation (based on the PQ46 platform) with sliding rear doors and completely unrelated the the previous generation, came out in 2010.

FCA discussing Lancia Delta Integrale return
This is never going to happen. I bet no one in FCA is talking about spending another cent on Lancia, they're more waiting for break even point on the current Ypsilon before they end production and can the Lancia brand altogether.
