2016 Toyota Mirai starts at $57,500, interior pics released [video]
there is absolutely nothing attractive about that interior. as a design, nothing is cohesive. but Toyota, if you are going to out on a limb and do a weird, discordant, futuristic interior, then carry it through ALL elements and don't use the boring steering wheel off another of your (boring) models.

Lincoln introduces the MKC & MKZ Black Label [video]
I think this is a smart idea for Lincoln. People pay extra for something that suggests quality and sets them apart, and smart for Lincoln to go after the premium market in this way. I hope they give it time; this will not be an instant hit, but if they do it right should grow to be a successful bran...

2016 Acura ILX teased for L.A., company promises big changes
in that shadowed teaser, it still has that weird shoulder line that to me signifies RWD.....wish they'd quit just throwing in character lines and figure out where they actually belong!

2016 Audi Q1 gets rendered
I applaud Lexus for trying to find its voice in design. I won't say I love it, but I like where I think they are trying to go. I can't imagine Audi following Lexus' current motif and building this. All it needs is a spindle grill and an 'L' logo badge to be a Lexus. Don't do it.

Aston Martin Lagonda returns in official images
this has that understated yet powerful elegance that the previous generation Quattroporte had ( and that the current version lacks). truly beautiful. why they don't replace the beautiful but compromised Rapide with this is beyond me. (and in this strata, and an extra 100k or two is nothing for this ...

Infiniti G37 renamed Q40, to stay on sale until mid-2015
let me get this straight, they changed the name for the last half-model year before they phase it out? does anyone have a credible reason for doing this? are they trying to confuse potential customers?

2018 BMW 1-Series to be larger & front-wheel drive - report
I own a 135i, and agree with your sentiment about not switching to FWD, but there are 1 series owners who are aware of the RWD architecture of their cars- in fact, that's why I bought mine!

Remembering the odd 1989 Porsche Panamericana concept
I was lucky enough to see this car in person at the Porsche exhibit at the NC Museum of Art last fall. I think this car is far more original and important than it is given credit for. Details, like the parking light arrangement, show where Porsche was going with the 986/ 996 fried egg headlight way ...
