Porsche 911 revealed with wood trim, sacrilege?
Can't agree more... It doesn't feel right on almost any modern production car, maybe apart from the hand built Mulsanne and Phantom, but still I have doubts over the wood on the Mulsanne's interior...

Ferrari GTC4Lusso replaces FF and brings 680 hp
Not my cup of tea. If I would look at everyday driver with that kind of money I think I'd get the Panamera or Continental GT and than add something more sporty like a GT3 or the new Evora 400. Would cost me around the same too. I think the FF always tried to be the best of both worlds and combine everyday usability with supercar performance but never succeeded in doing it.

Renault reveals its 2016 F1 car and livery, Magnussen confirmed
I love that color scheme! (or rather lack of it), but all black F1 cars is what we haven't seen in a longtime and I missed that.

Aston Martin DB11 spied inside & out
if it is 5.16789 then when rounded to 0.1 it is 5.2, so it's ok. Aston's 5.9 is 5,935 so after rounding it is 5.9 not 6.0 as some people say it is, you see my point?

Aston Martin DB11 spied inside & out
5.935 so 5.9 when rounded. Just like the AMG 6.2 which is a bit over 6.2 and not 6.3 amg used to call it

Aston Martin DB11 spied inside & out
The V12 that was used in the DB9 was 5.9l not 6.0-liter. It's a common mistake and the engine cover said it was 6.0, but in fact it was always 5.9.

2017 Porsche Panamera spied with new capacitive-touch controls
True, I'd have to look at the screen to watch if I "really" pressed it or not and have activated the function. With a normal button I wouldn't have to take the eyesight out of the road.

VW reiterates Euro owners won’t get Dieselgate compensations
That was easy to predict. EU is ruled mainly by Germany and they won't punish one of the biggest German business.

2016 Mercedes E Class fully revealed in leaked images
Looks much better than I thought it would. The made small changes to the C and S-class style to make it look a bit different than both of these and the have managed to maintain the distinctive E-class style design. If the new C, E and S would be parked side by side and I had no idea which one is which, I'd have no problem pointing that this is the E-class.

Nissan GT-R to move upmarket
When you buy GT-R you pay for performance, all else is made with some cost savings, but you get a car that is capable to fight with 488, Huracan or 650S on the track and still is very usable and comfortable. If you want both plush interior and the same performance get a 911 Turbo S or the other cars I have mentioned.

It looks like something Mansory could have done. It's not a beauty definitely. Striking and agressive yes, beautiful not.

VW to finally drop the ridiculously expensive Phaeton
You can always look at it the other way round. It's a cheap Bentley Flying Spur with a different badge. All is matter of perspective ;)

Audi RS6 allroad rumor sounds interesting
I can't see a sense to build this car when the new generation is around the corner. If they do it, it will be based on the next gen RS6 I guess.

Porsche MSB platform to underpin production Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6
They will, I think someone from Porsche said it was a mistake they didn't make the 928 on the first gen Panamera platform, but they will do it on the next one.

2018 BMW M5 likely getting all-wheel drive
No, it won't. All these cars had a bit different characters in the past. Now they will all become the same - automatic, turbo V8 and AWD. In the future they will be electric which will be even worse. Just choose your favourite brand, the interior and exterior you like the most and there you go - apart from that all will be the same.

What I learned after 5,600 miles in a Ferrari F355 Spider
That's why I like the old Ferraris. I love the F50 for the reasons you mentioned and the fact that it was the ultimate Ferrari with carbon fibre monocoque construction and an F1 derived V12 engine. The next Enzo had to be serviced more with a computers and not tools.

Barely driven Ferrari 599 GTO on sale for €795,000
True, but if the owner is a busy businessman, owns several super/hypercars, travels a lot around the world etc. than even if he drove one his car to the grocery store every time he could the cars would have marginal mileage just like this one (around 700 km per year).

You can drive P1, LaFerrari, and 918 for £7,500 [video]
I think this offer is aimed at people that can afford really nice car, something like a 911 GT3 or even 488 and track them, but the hypercars costing 4x times as much (or even more after they all got sold) is simply out of their reach. 8000 euros is what they would spend for some nice trip and a stay in nice hotels. If someone is a huge car enthusiasts that is imho a fair price for this event. Not many people can say they drove all 3 great hypercars of current era and certainly less can say that they drove them at speed over 200 mph.
