In a low slung sports car you can see the cars that are on a similar height- in a coupe SUV most cars are beneath you because you are so high- thats why visibilty is most dangerous in them

Credit Suisse estimates dieselgate could cost VAG up to €78 billion
Thank you America for damaging Europe's economy even further. We all know how environmentally conscious you are with your nice clean unpolluting V8 pick-ups that easily do 50+ mpg and by no means avoid regulations by being classed as commercial vehicles. I am sure if any American brands were caught cheating you would fine them every bit as much...

Aston Martin Lagonda looks massive on London streets [video]
Look at the amount of attention it is getting. But is it worth SO much? It doesn't look that special- IMHO the Rapide looks better, but this is nicer than a Maybach for sure.

Fiat 500 five-door hatchback rendered
I dont like the numbering system- to me it should go: FIAT 500 stays the same, this car is the 600, FIAT 500 L becomes the 700, FIAT 500 X becomes the 800 (or 850 for historical reasons). That makes more sense to me

I think they have a great idea here- a fun electric car that doesn't demand many compromises or sacrifices over the standard car- given that you've sacrificed almost everything (including one wheel) already ;-) roll on electric Caterhams, Ariels and Zenos' I say!

Fiat announces 500 facelift will be revealed on July 4
The problem is each successive generation of the new MINI got bigger and uglier- I hope any future 500s will stay small and neat. Also as it is the best selling city car and constantly one of Europe's best-selling cars why would they radically change it?

One word sums this idea up- Depreciation. The Mondeo is still seen as a sales-reps car and in a few years there will be very little difference in value between spec levels. This will just have depreciated more.
