Future Tesla Model X owner complains about launch event
What a complete over exaggeration. Delays at events such as these are typical. Sounds to me like he sat there silently in impatient protest instead of seeking involvement or accommodation from the good people at Tesla. If he could not make the most of the situation/opportunity that's no ones fault but his own. Not here to speculate but most likely, it was delayed on purpose and for good reason. We waited about the same amount of time back when Tesla moved into Toyota's old nummi plant across the bay. A bit skeptical at first, I was stunned and amazed at what an amazing car the tesla is. Can't recall one complaint or disappointing experience from anybody there!

2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 spied on the Ring, could have 600+ bhp
Just can't get over that high beltline that carried over from the last generation camaro. Guess Chevy thinks window sills and dashboard in your face is a proven winner. Hopefully, the next gen maro will be a bit slimmer in the middle.

Acura NSX reportedly delayed until next spring
The antagonist in me feels you had the overwhelming impulse to use that saved little catch phrase for ...just the right moment. Pat yourself on the back because you owned that one! What a solid foundation to bring an ends to ...an argument!? 1. No they don't. 2. About Acura? fyi: they are not "badged"/sold as Acura's in Japan and most other parts of the world. Savvy? 3. You'd be better off sticking to reruns of the Daily Show ...wait for it... than play comedian using regurgitated self evident innuendo and weak punchlines.

Acura NSX reportedly delayed until next spring
Why do so many make mention of Acura's being 'glorified Honda's' but that same logic is not applicable to other luxury brands such as Lexus (Toyota), Caddy (GM), Infiniti (Nissan), or Lincoln (Ford)?

Acura NSX reportedly delayed until next spring
The new NSX looks absolutely amazing in person! If there was ever any doubt about it's redesign it was all settled the moment I got to see two in person. Acura invited customers to a special viewing at select dealers a couple weeks ago and they did not disappoint. I don't know where this story came from but as far as I know, everything is on schedule.

Pontiac Fiero-based Ferrari Enzo replica looks ghastly
Located in Fremont/Union City, my hometown. Think this car single handily brought down the real estate value in my old hood! And that's not a bad thing. Perhaps now the average person can afford to live there. Should call him and ask if it comes with a cardboard cutout of Demi Moore?

Texan couple extends Viper collection to a whopping 79 cars
To quote a genius -- insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. Not sure if that applies here but come on! This just seems to border some form of mental illness. If they're really viper aficionados like they proudly flaunt around why not purchase the car the viper was based on, the Shelby Daytona? A car to this day that would still kick Viper's A. Can't say its not in their price range all things considered.

Ford GT concept with covered badge displayed in London, nobody can identify it [video]
Whatever the goal, it doesn't mock Brits by any means. In fact, I think it says less about Ford and their brand recognition/identity than anything else. Good way to inflate a companies ego, though, even if 50% of what you're looking at is borrowed.

Chevrolet Camaro inexplicably ends on top of Subaru Outback and stays there
Three words: white liberal guilt. Comments such as these, unfortunately, are prone to the lefts misinterpretation and 'political correctness'. Sad.

2017 Ford GT without paint looks apocalyptic in these spy shots
"...working out of a scummy basement office." LOL, how gullible. Harmless propaganda courtesy of Ford motor co. Honda (nsx) and Nissan (2020) might want some consideration.

Watch the Porsche 918 Spyder set another lap record [video]
Saw this yesterday. Not to discredit Porsche and what they've accomplished with the 918, but I wonder if the selected drivers prior experience/familiarity/preference with the 918 played a role? Not to suggest bias here -- it seemed like a fair analysis and they performed more than one run, but still, some of what he said seemed to contradict what others who've raced the p1 have said. Warmer/heated tires usually mean faster track times, especially with the p1, so I'm sort of scratching my head over why he wasn't able to better his initial time? Second, the lack of confidence when cornering, never seeming to quite getting the hang of it, makes me wonder if McLaren should have brought one of their own drivers, less an additional engineer? Tenths of a second should have been doable. Anyway, too bad Ferrari was a no show, yet again. Porsche is the reining track king thus far!

McLaren shows off the 675LT's rear end in latest teaser; will have 700 Nm torque [video]
So the whole premise was about cheap h/p and production cars? That's not the part that concerned me. Too much emphasis is being put on a soundbite of information while going into details that need no explaining. For every 1k rpm's (n/a) thats twice the pressure on a motor, i got that. Its what you implied, hence the tidbit on McLarens past I voiced to counter your claim. Back then, some felt turbos were necessary to compete at the highest level. Ironically, it wasn't McLaren Honda.

McLaren shows off the 675LT's rear end in latest teaser; will have 700 Nm torque [video]
...but have you actually seen the 650s or 12c other than in print or online? The rear unquestionably makes sense when you see it in person. I don't know why, but its one of the few cars designs out there that does not translate visually well on paper. So much is lost such as its stance, profile, and overall dimensions.

McLaren shows off the 675LT's rear end in latest teaser; will have 700 Nm torque [video]
As if the F-40 gives Ferrari more credibility in an era where McLaren Honda was absolutely dominating Ferrari. Didn't matter if McLaren used forced induction or N/A Ferrari had no answer. Of course you could argue they had no production car to offer but then what really matters? Championships or street legal road cars? As for turbos vs N/A, that agruement has been talked about ad nauseam. True naturally aspirated engines have more internal moving parts and operate at some ridiculously high rev's, forced induction technology has come a long way from what it used to be and it continuing to improve. Its a fallacy to believe one has more credibility over the other anymore. Still, if that is your case, McLaren was one of the few that was able to take Ferrari to the woodshed and give them a good spanking when they needed it.

Ford highlights the design & creation of the new GT [video]
By that logic I guess its pure coincidence and fair game then. Forget intellectual property rights even if it serves only as a reference points of influence. Ford had no shame reverse engineering a Ferrari for the last GT and it seems their continuing trend of cutting corners has no end. That's not exactly reinventing the wheel unless you like looking at the world through Rosey colored shades.
