Chevrolet considering more diesel-powered models for the US
Very nice engine but considering the huge petrol engines on these beasts it would be more appropriate to have a 3.5 to 4.0 ltr or so engine that would produce comparable power.

The rest of the car looks amazing but true the front end is impossible to get used to.

Chevrolet introduces their new ZZ6 small block V8 engine
When I read articles about "big" engines I envy Americans. I have owned around 15 cars and apart from a Chevy Blazer all others were 2-liter or less.

Opel GT coupe concept heading 2016 Geneva Motor Show?
This is good news from Opel. Some excitement in the line up is needed so they better make a worthwhile sports car. Front wheel drive on a coupe though? I can't imagine the GT above with 264 hp riding on the front wheels.

Opel GT coupe concept heading 2016 Geneva Motor Show?
That Opel is very special to me because I drive it almost every day for 7 years and despite the low quality plastics and seats it is a super fast agile roadster yet comfortable enough for everyday use. Too bad Opel didn't take this American model and build on it to make it even nicer.

Renault Megane Coupe rendering is a really nice effort
He is right. Renault confirmed that the RS will come in five doors. Same as Ford and then Opel. Such a shame.

VW working on two solutions to fix cars powered by EA189 engines; hardware changes possible
My only issue is that all my life I knew that "in every German there's a policeman" and this kind of falls apart now. Unless of course, policemen only care about others obeying the law. They get an exception.

VW UK announces gasoline, V6 TDI and V8 TDI engines don’t have illegal software
Oh!!! So that should clear the air. This sounds like an announcement from a psycho mother..."Yes I killed my younger son but I didn't harm any of my other children" Just fix the damn cars, pay the fines and keep on walking VW.

Porsche responds to Paul Walker’s daughter regarding wrongful death lawsuit
It seems to me that since lawsuits are flying around, Porsche would have a case to sue drivers that recklessly crash and give a bad name to the company for making unsafe cars. Not that the VW group name could get any worse these days.

Porsche responds to Paul Walker’s daughter regarding wrongful death lawsuit
While you have a point buddy, super cars are easier to die in since you re prone to speed in them, where I live we have a lot more deaths from Honda Civics and Integras since 20 year olds strip them and stock them than from super cars. Sure, the car is one reason, but the driver is even more so. Not to mention luck. If you run out of it you will die even while walking on the pavement.

First European Tesla factory opens in the Netherlands
Actually I wouldn't mind the CTS ATS and Camaro invading a bit sooner. American cars are a long way from the junk they were 3 decades ago.

2003 Audi Le Mans quattro concept displayed together with 2015 R8 V10 Plus
This is a good point. I would say the VW group scam should be punished by us users also. For six months no news should be published on their cars. Maybe its easy for me to say cause I m not a VW fan but I m no hater of their cars either. My wife favors Audis but we're definitely not getting one now. I simply find it fair that media should punish their disrespect for what they were doing.

2016 MINI Clubman priced from $24,100 in the U.S.
I m so disappointed with the new Mini. The previous models were super cute and aggressive at the same time. The new one is more practical but it lost both other qualities that amazed me. The new "mini" is now the 500 in Abarth form.

Opel Astra OPC slated to use a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine
But this time Opel said it will axe the two door to minimize costs. Just like Ford did. Also, Renault just announced the new Megane RS will only be four door.

2017 Opel Insignia speculative render shows major departure from outgoing model
Show its age? Despite its age the Insignia remains a beautiful car. In contrast to some rivals' new models that look old news from day 1, the current Insignia retains a fresh air in its design. Opel better do a similar job on the new one.

Opel Astra OPC slated to use a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine
WHAT??? First we lose the two door body and now we lose the 2 ltr engine as well? An OPC with 1.6? Is this the Meriva OPC? Thank God Camaro is coming just in time.

2016 Buick Cascada starts at $33,990
Such a relief the engine is a 1.6 200hp. The 1.4 is too weak for this size of car. Too bad it isn't offered with Opel's 2 ltr biturbo diesel. That torque would make it an even better drive.

VW, Audi facing up to $18 billion fine after getting caught with illegal emissions control software
That's the point. These cars would detect the sniffer test and cheat on it. Real world driving is when you drive your car out in the streets and not in the garage hooked on the sniffer. If GM had done this we would all be screaming that 18 bil is not enough.
