Mercedes pickup gets ready for production in new rendering
Are you disappointed that there's a pick up with a three pointed star on it or that Nissan's people will be wrenching it together?
Apr 11th, 2015 5:14am
Mercedes pickup could be offered in the U.S.
If the bed could haul a shifter kart, some bikes and a barbeque, or the errant big screen tv I'd be on board. Extra points if it could tow a track toy around. Short of that I'd stick with the usual suspects.

Susie Wolff slams 'all-female F1' series idea
Women have raced at all levels of the sport for more than a century now COMPETITIVELY. A womens league would be demeaning and irrelevant. It's 2015.

Police officer smashes window to stop car after driver passes out in the middle of freeway [video]
If that was a bystander taking all this video he was taking a hell of a risk for her. Another example of how dangerous the traffic enforcement police do for us is.

2015 Lincoln Continental concept breaks cover [videos]
It is similar to an XJ in some respects, but the greenhouse and stance are definitely American. I wish they would have brought back rear hinged rear doors considering it's a continental. Still, this is a car I'd be proud to own, provided a production version would be largely unchanged. And I found a much better video here: http://money.cnn.com/2015/03/30/autos/lincoln-continental/

Audi R8 V10 Plus in Vegas Yellow looks sharp
For all the whining I've been doing with respect to the exterior, the new interior is fantastic! That's Audi's true calling card: a cockpit that is a genuinely nice place to be. It's evocative of the 458's but though with classic Teutonic restraint.

American company to debut 1700 HP supercar at New York Auto Show
GT90 needs its headlights back? Kind of a blend of mercedes vision gt, diablo, veyron and others I can't imagine at this hour. Sort of derivative. Wheels look tiny cloaked in all that bulging bodywork.

New Audi R8 photographed in the metal in Sweden
Not digging the camaro taillights or the butchery of the sigma blade. Not thrilled by some of the contouring of the rear quarter. At least the fascia was well done. Despite being so behind schedule, this one should have been put back in the oven for a couple years.

2017 Ford GT to cost around $400,000; annual production capped at 250 units
Astute observation. It is a very special, visionary vehicle and it will be an instant collectible as the last GT was, only increasing in value. It's history in the making.

2017 Ford GT to cost around $400,000; annual production capped at 250 units
Considering economies of scale they probably don't have a choice but to ask that much for it. For that matter with the amount of bespoke equipment it must have, they might even lose money on it. That said I was naively hoping the price wouldn't stray far from the 150K Ford asked for the last GT. If I had the net worth to support such a purchase I feel like I'd spring for one of the last of the V12s rather than the first of the eco hyper cars.

Porsche 901 concept render is a stunning tribute to the legendary 911
I was a huge fan of Strosek's 964 kit so I really like the headlight treatment. The wheel arch cut aways and clamshell rear are really attractive. I'm also loving the frameless windshield and exhaust location. Someone give this guy a job!

Next-gen Audi A4 spied with no camouflage by WCF reader
They've resorted to bland, safe designs to attract customers outside their core audience. They look amazing when modified, but I'm with you on the 'meh.' Mind you I've been an Audi fanboy for 15+ years now.
