Shifting production of Golf MK6 out of SA won't help! Will these cars be serviced in Germany? We'll still have to face local VW! I concur that the East (Toyota et all) have better growth prospects....

It was a No.1 seller until a few years ago. However, as of now, it's still one of the best selling cars by a significant margin. The VW Polo and Toyota Yaris normally compete for the number 1 place.
