The 3.0TDI isn't a VR6, but a V6, this means it cannot be mounted in the Passat because of the transversal mounting of the engine..it just doesn't fit....

I spent some time in the us in '96-'97 and worked at an auto-show for vw there. At that time people allready asked about the Polo. I definatly think that bringing the Polo to the US could strengthen V...
