ROUSH Performance, long known for adding power and performance to the Ford F-150 has just released the newest version in their vehicle line, the ROUSH 500RC which adds big-time pickup to a pickup truck.

Now in production and available at dealers nationwide, the ROUSH 500RC is a true road runner thanks to the ground pounding 445 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque generated by the addition of a ROUSHchargerTM system.  This is a substantial increase in power and performance over the 300 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque that is generated from the stock Ford factory 5.4L, 3-valve engine, and the entire truck, including the ROUSHchargerTM, is covered by ROUSH’s industry-leading 3-year/36,000-mile warranty.

Additional ROUSH treatments include a dual rear exit high-performance exhaust system, 20-inch chrome wheels and tires, and a billet aluminum grille.  Completing the styling and proving the heritage of the truck is the unique ROUSH 500RC fender and tailgate badging, top and side stripe kit, and the serial badge in the engine compartment.  Born from ROUSH Racing’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series program, the ROUSH 500RC is a perfect example of what lies between a race truck and a regular truck – a ROUSH truck.

A variety of options are available, including the stylish ROUSH hood scoop, rear wing, front chin spoiler, sport suspension system, sport leather seating, billet aluminum pedals and performance instrument cluster.

"The ROUSH 500RC is a perfect choice for the driver who wants the top performance in a pickup, yet is looking for something different from the fully-loaded ROUSH Stage 3," explained Joe Thompson, general manager of ROUSH Performance Products.  "This is an excellent truck for the race fan or any driver that wants a lot of fun when sliding behind the steering wheel."

Based in Livonia, Mich., "The Art of Performance Engineering" takes place at Roush Performance.  In addition to the Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 Ford Mustang and F-150 styling, handling and performance upgrades, a complete line of performance parts and crate engines are offered.
