UK's Vauxhall Volt to cost $7000 less than US' Chevy Volt

How is it possible that the Vauxhall Ampera will sell in the U.K. for $7,000 less than the Chevy Volt? We don't know either.

Australia becomes the third region to confirm its intention to sell a version of the GM Volt. The Volt will get a Holden badge Down Under. The Cruze family sedan also goes on sale there soon.
