A car chase being filmed in New York's Times Square went horribly wrong when a stunt driver in a Ferrari F430 lost control and skidded onto a sidewalk filled with pedestrians.

Two people received minor injuries as a result of the freak accident. One individual was struck by a falling electrical pole while the other was smacked by the rear quarter panel of the F430 as it crashed into a Sbarro's restaurant. The car itself only appeared to have moderate front end damage and the stunt driver walked away unscathed.

The chase was being filmed for an upcoming Disney movie called "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" which stars Nicolas Cage. While little is known about movie, its plot seems to revolve around sorcerer Balthazar Blake's (Cage) attempt to find an apprentice in New York City.
