2009 Tuning World Bodensee Commercial Hits the Spot

And for the female car fans out there reaching out to their inner Michelle Rodriguez, there's lots for you to see at the Tuning World Bodensee too. Unless, you are there to be crowned Miss Tuning, in which case, you need know nothing about cars.

The Tuning World Bodensee event is coming up and here's a clever ad they've put out to get all those petrolheads geared up to go have a look.

The ad features a crew of beautiful young women doing their own little tuning number on what appears to be a brand new Loder1899 dressed Ford Fiesta as a geeky-ish guy watches, enthralled, under the spell of this idealized image.

Of course, it is all a fantasy as the man is slapped back to reality by a bald, burly, tattooed man working on a plain old Mk3 Fiesta from 1989 with faded paint. Ah, reality bites. Yes, your car is boring and your girlfriend doesn't prance around like a qualified stripper. Too bad.

Tuning World Bodensee takes place April 20th to May 3rd at the Messe Friedrichshafen in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
