Spy shots reveal facelifted Grande Punto will come with a new grill and possibly new cabin interior

A facelift is coming for the Grande Punto and these spy shots show Fiat not doing much to cover things up on the exterior other than some taping of the front end.

Given that, one can only assume that external changes will be minimal but the face, with a new grill and front bumper, may change just enough to update the look satisfactorily. We'll just have to wait and see.

But inside it's a different story as there appears to be some big changes coming. It seems the cabin of the Fiat Grande Punto has borrowed a lot from sister brand Alfa Romeo. And that is a good thing, as the market gets increasingly competitive, especially in these smaller segments, cabin comfort and styling become very important.

Or have they simply pulled the dashboard from the upcoming 149 and placed it here as a ruse?

No news yet on when the new Grande Punto will make it to dealer showrooms.
