After three years absence, Toyota is making a return to Super Bowl advertising with one 30 second spot to feature the all-new 2012 Toyota Camry. Called "Reinvented" the commercial, seen in the extended version above, imagines a bizarre yet funny world where everything is as innovative as the 2012 Camry.

The ad humorously envisions ideas of ordinary items reinvented, such as a sofa couch made of beautiful woment in bikinis, a police officer that gives back massages during traffic stops, a baby that doesn't poop and so forth. In other words, good things are always better when reinvented, like the 2012 Camry.

"Reinvention is a powerful idea and one we took to heart when we redesigned America's most popular car with the launch of the 2012 Camry and elevated it above the competition," said Bill Fay, group vice president of marketing at Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. "The Super Bowl provides a forum to really drive home the reinvention message of the seventh-generation Camry, using humor to resonate with the American public."

"Reinvented" will air during the third quarter of Super Bowl XLVI on February 5.

Unfortunately, the ad does not fit into this car. It is not bad, made with the idea, but the car is ... ORDINARY! I know that the Japanese put on minimalism and simplicity, but the Toyota Camry, is a premium car (at least in my country). Such a car should look great, brilliantly ... or at least good. Camry looks from the outside as if someone had carved it in soap, out of boredom in school. This solid may be liked in the 80, or 90th It may surprise us uncommon car driving properties, may have a mass of hidden advantages (which I doubt), but for me the first exterior matters. Sorry, for me this car looks like a B-segment model, and I think I would rather buy a Ford Taurus, because it looks so much better and more expensive;-)
