VW has higher standards that than. we all know European buyers have much greater expectations compared to American buyers, which is why many American cars are so derided in Europe. American manufacturers also tend to resort to Korean/far eastern pricing strategies of under cutting their European rivals in the European market because of that. I know it may be a re branded chrysler in America, but the touran is based on the golf in Europe
