I reckon you're right - those XF saloon lights look stuck on to disguise a different rear. Yes how much I 'own' about cars. What is this "Mazda" you speak of? Never heard of them. Sarcasm aside, the side profile of this car is ridiculously similar to that of the A7 Sportback.

You get what you pay for: US Civic starts at $15,605 (just £9,600!) whereas the UK Civic is £15,750 ($25,600). Same goes for the Euro Accord which is why it's branded as a premium Acura TSX in the US.

Jeremy Clarkson's point was that even though the Prius might have better mpg than a Range Rover, a Range Rover is sourced, built and assembled in the UK but by the time a Toyota Prius gets to the UK it has been assembled on three continents - hardly friendly to the environment. On top of that, the Range Rover's life expectancy is at least double that of a Prius with it's irreplaceable (and non-reusable) lithium batteries. Ironically, in the long run, a Range Rover is more economical.

About
Working in advertising, I have to split my time between the UK and the US which means I travel a lot of miles and get used to the differences between driving styles in both countries. I love cars but practicality and build quality are too factors which have come first recently.
I have two manual Audis in the UK, an A3 which my partner uses to drop the kids at school, I drive an A4 Avant, boring and dad-ish but quick enough for me. We also have an automatic Lexus RX hybrid in Los Angeles which is curbed, dented and always dusty, the joys of Southern Californian driving.
