Anyone notice the radar pod on the front bumper for adaptive cruise control?
Entry-level Maserati sedan to feature a Chrysler engine - report
May 17, 2011
Meh...who knows, maybe it'll work? Can't perform any worse could it? An please get your facts straight. Panamera engine is all Porsche not VW. That's the Cayenne. And learn from Porsche's mistakes? Really? Hoped for 20,000 Panameras sold in the first year and the sold 23,000. Mistake? Hardly. Ever drive one? Do it. Drive a real performer. Not a poseur. Maserati looks ok, not reliable. And doesn't perform. Put your money where your mouth is. Drive both and put them to the test. I have. Nothing with four doors holds a candle to a Panamera. Few cars with two will.
Fiat 500 delivered in U.S. - ends 27 year absence

Hopefully North American buyers ambrace these cars and the whole point behind them. Our world is falling apart with factories pumping out fumes into our environment and fossil fuels are diminishing at alarming rates yet the whole North American mentallity forges on in some of the silly statements above. Wider streets taking up more space along with indiscriminate breeding that taxpayers have to pay for because people would rather get pregnant and let others pay for their laziness than work for themselves. No one says you can't have performance AND fuel efficiency! Look at what Porsche has done. In a time when there was a fuel crisis and everyone detuned their cars they came out with the 911 Turbo. And now they build the quickest production car on the road today (tied with Bugatti VeyronSS) for a fraction of the cast as well as one of the Kings of the Ring wiping out cars two or three times more expensive. The North American car makers now all of a sudden are making ultra fuel efficient cars after the economic problems we all had. Really? Did they magically discover ways to do what Europe has been doing all along? Remember the EV-1? Disappeared after the 10 year leases were up with no negotiation to let customers keep buy them out. And who bought rights to the crushed cars? Chevron. Imagine that. An oil company...hmmm...interesting. Who's really running the show? Who can make a change? Us. Buy more fuel efficient cars for daily commuting. Keep the gas guzzlers on the lots or better yet on the drawing boards. I love the sound of a good ol American V8, it's music to the ears. But they can't build a lighter car with less displacement, variable valve timing and lift, maybe twin turbos? Or 4 bangers that put out huge power and suck back less gas? Or better yet, diesel hybrids that can perform? We all know they can, it's getting our heads wrapped around it and the problems we are causing to our world and what we need to do to stop it. Bravo Fiat, Volkswagen, Smart, Toyota, Porsche, BMW, MB for doing what the American auto makers have neglected to do for so long. It's about time they smarten up as well as ourselves. I love high horsepower and performance, but I like the tought of having a good world to live in better. Enough ignorance.

Lamborghini four-door Estoque production rumours return
August 7, 2010
Nice car, no doubt about it. Now let's see them build it and be worth the price...it'll still be hard pressed to perform like the Panamera. No matter what you nay sayers have to say, the Panamera is the ONLY 4 door sports car out there. "Ugly" and "weird"? I disagree, it's a far better looking car in person.
New BMW M5 to get V8 turbocharged engine
June 7, 2010
Hopefully they scrap that POS SMG, they should be ashamed of themselves to even consider putting that piece of crap in a production car. And I'd love to see how it compares to a Panamera Turbo. The M5 used to be the benchmark in sports saloons. Porsche raised the bar, to the moon. Anyone, I mean anyone is welcome to bring out their car to compare to a Panamera. There is none. It is truly, the only 4 door sports car. Everything else is a high horsepower sedan. I've driven them all, no comparison.

eddie, wtf r u talking about?? Maserati the best car for the money? r u sniffing glue? it is overpriced, handles terribly, and is only ok to drive if it has the automatic transmission, the flappy paddle box is a POS! and the brakes are garbage! a nice sounding engine...that's it? i recently drove a large number of cars in the upper scale of what's available and the maserati was truly the biggest disappointment. POO i say!

Can't polish a turd....nice looking unit. POS to drive and own, unless you love spending time at the dealership for warranty work, and of course if you love a unit that depreciates more than anything else on the road. Boo Land Rover, boo.
SpeedART BTR II 650 EVO Pumps Porsche 911 Turbo Facelift up to 650 hp

Screw the body kits. I wanna see some real performance figures! We all know Porsche is being very conservative with their 0-60m0-100kms times. Cargraphic posted 0-100kms in 3.1 secs out of a stocker! 3.2 is bullshit! C'mon! One of these car magazines/websites do some real world testing! And on the Panamera too! I wanna see some real tests! Put it up against a GTR, put a Panamera TT up against the high horsepower sedans! I wanna see Porsche and all the rest put the money where their mouth is!!!!
