The NMS is probably based upon the same platform as the Audi A5 Sportback, which is what the Audi Q5 is based on. It would only make sense to manufacture an SUV between the Tiguan and Toureg in size.

Audi has found their new design language, and they are going to stick with it for this year's model revisions. It's a very smart move, as Audi design is now unmistakable regardless of what model you are looking at. Audi isn't a "LET ME GET IN YO FACE" company. They have been known for minimalistic designs. That is Audi. Ugly is a matter of personal taste, but you can't honestly call this ugly without calling all of Audi's designs ugly as well. Like I said, the new A6 is an improvement over the past A6. It's not a revolutionary product, but simple design is never going to be revolutionary.
