New Bugatti Veyron to hit 270 mph
January 14, 2011
Let's add functions that are practical- even "super car practical". Who really cares that you can do 270MPH. I'm sure making the car achieve those numbers was costly to R&D, not to mention the price for a set of tires that are rated for those speeds to the consumer. When will you EVER need or even be able to achieve those speeds?! I guess if you're being chased by George Jetson :)
Ferrari fined $100,000 for team orders, to face FIA World Council
July 26, 2010
I don't know why everyone is jumping on the bandwagon against Alonso, or even Ferrari for that matter. This is racing folks and if any one of you thinks every team doesn't try to test the envelope of the literal rules then you have a lot to learn. This is no different than Red Bull finding loop holes around the rear diffuser design. But let's keep it real. This "move" was not about just letting Alonso win. This was about Ferrari winning. Massa was slower than Alonso. Could Alonso have overtaken him? Yes probably but why risk an incident. Further and most important, with Massa being slower and hence slowing down Alonso behind him, Vettel was catching up to both cars. So think about what could happen if we now have a 3 car train and somehow Vettel slips by overtaking the lead and Ferrari losing out on critical points they need right now. This move was strategy and least risk. I don't need to remind you how the real whiner Hamilton won the race not long ago when the RB team took each other out this exact way. Did Ferrari ask Massa to move over? No, they told him he was slower. Was it code to move over? Yes, I don't doubt that was their intention. But whose to say whether it was Massa's decision to just give in as much as he didn't really want to- he was thinking of the good of the team. We saw how close Vettel got after Alonso passed him.
Ferrari 458 Italia by Oakley Design
June 7, 2010
Let me be the bearer of bad news. First, this is 100% a photoshop job. And a bad one at that. The wheels in the photo are Dymag carbon wheels, not OZ. Dymag does not exist anymore. And why would you put a Porsche GT3-style vent on the front of a Ferrari bumper? Second, Oakley Design is a scam! Please google this company and see how many people they have taken money from and not delivered product. I personally am out over $6,000 in product that they never even attempted to deliver. Please please do your homework. This Oakley 458 is not real and I wouldn't be surprised if ever sees reality. But they will take your money if you try to order some vapor parts.
Lamborghini Produces 4,000th Murcielago - Arrives in China
February 16, 2010
Is it coincidence that it seems every manufaturer's (including Ferrari) x,xxxth vehicle is going to someone in China?? :) You know where my investment money is going! China = the new Dubai. Btw, love the Orange exterior...reminds me of the Diablo GTR.
Active Autowerke and Vorsteiner Tuning Package for BMW M3 E92 [UPDATE]
February 16, 2010
Am I missing something here? Where's the performance and "tuning package"?! This is a worthless post unless you are selling the wheels. So you slap on some sham company's wheels, copy someone else's carbon parts and call yourself a "tuner". Please...
V?TH Shows Mercedes E-Class E63 AMG Tuning Program

Beautiful color. But ?19,635 (~$30,000) is ridiculous! Evosport can do it for half the amount with just bolt-ons! You don't need to open up the motor to make that power on this engine. But to each their own...beautiful car nonetheless!

Rome grand prix street race 'possible' - city
January 28, 2009
Unfortunately F1 has become more about creating venues to generate more revenue then about racing. The night GP street race in Indonesia last year was one of the most boring I've ever watched. I do enjoy GP's, which is why Monaco will never be removed from the schedule...ever! I vote for a night GP street race on the Las Vegas strip!
There Are Eight Stigs - the story that won't go away
January 28, 2009
They have now turned it into a means to get media attention. Nothing more. Let it rest. People really don't care.
