Next Gen RS4 Could Use Audi's Brand New 3.0-Liter TFSI Supercharged Engine Well they said at least 400hp so, knowing Audi it will probably be a bit above the current hp (420) or very close to it. I don't see Audi having an issue with keeping up with M and AMG. The RS4 is a few years off yet so who knows what kind of new tech Audi might come out with to make the engine even better.

Everyone has their opinion of diesel cars. The diesels of old sucked, plain and simple, but the new ones from Audi are absolutely top notch. A V12 TDI would be great in the R8. The new diesels feel just like a petrol engine just with much more torque.
