BMW X1 Caught Completely Undisguised during Photoshoot
April 29, 2009
I think there's too much punishment for BMW. They need to take the chance, at the end they were the ones that built a magnificent SUV for a race track that is the main purpose for the average vehicle that people buy, they don't pay too much attention to the dimensions or the shape of the car. Some of them had the courage to buy a Hummer!! for Christ sake!, why not pay a lot of thousands of dollars more for a militar vehicle that in fact, it's just gonna suck more dollars from your pocket as fuel... What BMW makes is pretty much the rule that other manufacturers have to follow, there was an X5 followed by the ML class, there was an X3 followed by the brand new MLK. Even Land Rover that is a reference on real SUVs (that you can get into the country side and get through with no problem what so ever) they built the Freelander and they have the Range Rover. It is just a simple market matter. And by the way, I think I prefer Chris Bangle that was giving an identity to each model of BMW than all of the other designers that just make one design and they "cut" it to each size of car the brand is selling... I love the BMW 5 series, it is just a different car, special design, nothing ever seen before..
GM in *intense* preparations for bankruptcy
April 8, 2009
Hi there, I don't even know when the end of GM started but just think about their products and see: If Honda or Toyota offer the Accord or Camry with a 3.0 and 240 hp or the newer 3.5 engines with 270 hp with a beautiful system that disengage half of the cylinders that are not being used (or shouldn't be used during traffic) in the other hand we see Chrysler, Ford and GM with the Cirrus, the Fusion or the Malibu offering boring and bigger engines with no technological advantages what so ever, so if you are buying a car, just for common sense you will choose the one that offers more for the same price, all American brands stills offer engines and technology that was new at least 10 years ago, while germans, japanese and the smart and tenacious coreans offering products with the last technology for a good price. Just common sense, and that happens with everything, I mean everything and you can consult this with Microsoft and Apple and you will be able to tell me how the consumer chose the product he wanted.
