2009 Nissan GT-R Pricing Increased by More than $7000
September 9, 2008
Ever wonder why we aren't paying for cars by the pound? How much high tech material is really in these super cars? Is the material really that much more expensive than alternatives or is it priced high because it isn't used that often? Since most development is now done by computer simulation, how much different is the engineering cost of the super car versus the hybrid econo-box? Let's face it, we poor caraholics have been paying for labels, looks and performance far beyond their intrinsic value for too long. This price gouging is the perfect example of corporate greed taking advantage of a stupid market that will shell out big bucks for a car that will be driven at 4/10 95% of the time. Don't believe me, just ask any hot car owner to give you the stats from their on-board computer for the latest MPH average. Other than a few track days, which these cars seldom see, the price paid for this car has no more value than the male enhancement pills that are making millions for the drug companies - or Fanny's Candy Pill Shop.
