2012 Nissan GT-R rumoured to get 500+ hp Some rumours floating around are that the 2012 GT-R will have a significant increase in torque and have a new edition of the L.C Launch Control (LC3) will have the revs @ 4500rpm before the brake is released, So id say Nissan wouldn't have any concerns about the transmission at this stage of the GT-Rs evolution process. Nissan says the 2012 GT-R will set a new bench mark above the already existing R35s outstanding performance and that the new Nurburgring lap time will be in the Porsche 911 GT2 RS territory (7.18)

2012 Nissan GT-R leaked image emerges Wait until all the specs come out, the base gt-r will have 520ps at 1710kg, even the new wheels are 3kgs lighter, the chassis has also been worked and the transmission and apparently it will have rear wheel drive option, Nissan claim its set a new benchmark above the last gt-r. should be good to say the least.
