This is good and all, but where do I put my iPod? JK:D Great job on the remake. Tough to decide which is nicer though Camaro or Challenger.
Japanese Company Creates Car That Can Run On Water
June 18, 2008
@kimbo; I did some research on Stan Meyer (ala Wikipedia and others including his watercar website), and in my opinion that seems like a sham. The biggest evidence being the fact that the design are freely available and nobody (that I know of at least) has reproduced his results (which have not been confirmed by independent scientists). His process was a type of electrolysis. This water car is using a different technique, I believe it is some kind of chemical catalyst. Water car or air car? Which should I choose :)
Updated Bumblebee & Mystery Supercar for Transformers Sequel

@fatter1; I was thinking they may have made a more production ready version. The canopy on the original Aero X is a little much for production standards. Can we agree it at least shares the same platform as a possible C7 or camaro?

Saab Aero X, slightly modified from the original concept, probably a more production ready version. This was also rumoured to be in the movie on the same site.
BMW M1 Protoype Spied?
May 5, 2008
I'm a pro graphic designer (15yrs). I really know photoshop and I believe this may be photoshop for one reason, the crack in the pavement just underneath the passenger door is a repeat of the crack closest to it. Take a close look, the ridges and contours have too many shared edges and properties for this to be coincidence. That would be my only reason for this assumption, otherwise this is flawless and a great design.
MIRA Unveils Retro-fit Hybrid Conversion for Regular Cars
April 25, 2008
This is a great idea. Hopefully we will see this more. Here's a scenario, drive your ev or hybrid for 300km, find a 'gas' station that rents batteries, based on the uhaul business model for pickup and drop off, drive another 300km to the next station, and so on until you're sick of driving. Create a standard casing that can accommodate changes in battery technology so new models can be powered by the same basic architecture, if the batteries become smaller, put more in the casing and extend the range. Stations can charge for the cost of electricity for the pre-charged modules and the cost of rental. People can keep there existing cars and convert them to more reliable electrics. The only loser is the dependent industries (oil, auto) - but the winner is the consumer and the environment. Besides, I am sick of paying 20000+ plus for new cars no matter how sexy they are.
