2012 BMW 1-Series M Coupe unveiled [video]
December 10, 2010
I'm very disappointed with the power output and performance numbers. BMW could have boosted the inline 6 to produce around 400hp and made it faster than the current M3. They purposefully held back to avoid cannibalizing M3 sales. Because of that I vow to boycott both the M3 (which is now obviously dated) and this little halfhearted nuisance (I feel very strongly about this) made ONLY for a quick profit. I hope they don't hold back on the next M5. The M1 looks quite aggressive by the way, but could have delivered far more..
BMW 3-Series Facelift Spied

Thank you Jesus for the retouch!! This ugly little thing sells like hot cakes, it's mind-boggling. The rear still looks it was pinched, the way the lines converge onto one area... very crappy. And yet it still sells... It's about the performance I suppose. But it also says a lot about the competition. Where is MB and Audi??
BMW Invests Heavily in Spartanburg Plant (US)

Very savvy business move, they can make cars at half the cost in the US (compared to Europe)due to the falling USD. (Should be loading up on BMW stock right about now). One wonders why all manufacturers aren't making the same move at this very opportune time.
New Audi S4 Spied in Northern Sweden

What's with the randomly angled, shapeless taillight design? BMW started it on the 3 sedan, and it's horrible, now Audi. Does any designer know what ugly means anymore? It used to be fun driving behind a new BMW or Audi, but not with rears this ugly... oh crap!
Acura TSX Details Surface

Acura does not need to develop a new V6 for the TSX though, they can just drop down the TL's 3.2l. MB and Lexus do that all the time, it works. Acura just put the 3.7l MDX motor into the 2009 RL...COOL! But where's the V8? They also dropped the RL's 3.5l into the TL Type-S (slightly detuned though).. they seem to be headed in the right direction, generally. It's really the higher end stuff that's lacking from Acura, they need to realize fuel economy and luxury are mutually exclusive, especially in the US mkt. Acura has to decide, sooner rather than later, if they want to be a maker of economic cars (we already have Hondas ), or a bonafide LUXURY brand b4 they are relegated to irrelevancy. Can't have it both ways.

Honda Corp. must be making money on the TSX to stubbornly continue to make the same 2.4l inline 4 in a such a competitive segment. Or they are doing so poorly and so hopeless with the vehicle it doesn't justify any serious redevelopment of the product for the US market. My guess is success of the European Accord more than makes up for the poor sales of the TSX.
Chevy Camaro Spied In Australia
February 3, 2008
The Camaro was better executed than the Challenger in my opinion. It has a hint of the oldie classic, and yet it does look modern (and very aggressive). The Challenger LOOKS old school (which is OK), almost exactly like the 70 challenger. The idea was not to remake the old car though... there are plenty in collectors' garages, but just to rekindle the memories of a bygone era, in the hope of reviving the model. Dodge missed the point by a mile.
Speculations: First Sighting of New Maybach
November 22, 2007
Got to agree with marsman, what we see in the second photo is just a stretch S-class. It's not the first for MB though, they have had stretch limos in Europe for a long time.
Chevrolet Camaro Bumblebee Sweepstakes (US)

GMC has been churning poorly designed vehicles for a while.. which explains their current predicament. The new Camaro looks nice... but it has taken soooo long to go into production.. For a company in trouble, the vehicle should've been a 2006 model.. I consider it to be an '06 model. It's dated before it reaches dealerships. Does anyone remember when the car first featured at auto shows?
New European Honda Accord Spied

The Euro version looks better than the bigger US version, no surprises there! But it also looks bigger than the TSX.
