Pirelli making F1 a 'show' or a 'lottery'? Its a true joke. That being said, the FIA has made everything so ridiculously homogeneous that one has to wonder what would happen if the tires weren't *the* factor. No engine differences/changes. No transmission changes. No nothing.

Its easier to lose a customer spending big bucks with flashy, trendy, hot-for-today styling than with something that's decent but could be a bit sexier. If you think the Audis look dated then I'm hesitant to hear your thoughts on the MB or BMW. Look at the 1, 3, 5 and 7 series BMW. They're all fug.

Criminally sexy - BMW highlights ConnectedDrive technology [video] This is a nice "ad" but... Audi could do this now, with the A7. BMW really needs to start bring modern cars to the market. As someone who is in the market for a new car ($30K to $45K), I must say that here in the U.S. the cars from Munich are quite disappointing. They're expensive for what you get and the interior quality/design is decidedly dated. I think VW/Audi has really taken it to these people. The BMW has nice drive characteristics but given the way cars are used 98% of the time, its somewhat less important.
