I think American automakers would win back some loyalty if they pushed a modern version of COPO. BMW, Audi, Porsche, Ferrari et al have stepped up and really pushed customization from special paint to body/wheel accessories and performance enhancements. I got lucky. The Ford dealer I purchase through is authorized Roush and regularly orders FRP fitted models. They also go out of their way to make sure you know your install options. Most dealers (my experience as a buyer and professionally) don't really care about what they get off the truck. Sales people don't know anything about trim codes. "Oh, what's a pack?". "Yea those Goodyears are Limited Slip."

It took spending time with a 599 to 'get passed' the fact that it smiles. A Ferrari shouldn't smile. Even with the renderings, photos, and video, I can't. Sadly, it's just ugly in my opinion. That says a lot since I'm a chick who dug the Testarossa-based FX from back in the day. This just looks like a cheap kit car. My respect will be for the mechanics. Nothing more.

Audi A7 confirmed for U.S. and maybe S8, but no A5 Sportback Sorry for the late reply, but yes there is an A8 Coupe. Wiki says there is only one officially (commissioned by Audi through a design house for Geneva to test potential consumer response), but I thought the Sultan of Brunei had one or whoever it was that had the convertible Benz CL done as well. It was refinished in aluminium-like coating I think. A photo of the official completed project can be seen on the A8's Wikicars page.

But man, I wish they'd do something about that paint! it's shameful on the close up around the emblem. Hm. I might might be liking the Mustang interior more than the Camaro. Not by a lot though.

Audi A7 confirmed for U.S. and maybe S8, but no A5 Sportback I'm surprised Audi hasn't made a serious go at a full-size coupe (Benz CL, Scaglietti even). The A7 should be that vehicle based off the 8. You could even do a convertible version to go after the SL. The old A8 Coupe was gorgeous. This CLS-wannabe (while I can see how Audi's quality would steal Benz customers) is in a segment where there isn't that much to go after.

Mystery BMW M1 Mule Spotted I want to say that the aspect ratio of the video is what's causing the 'queerness' of the car's proportions. But, I dunno. Something is way off. Not even gonna touch the 'mule' aspect of this at all.

Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon Confirmed GM needs to get their PR sorted. They need to entice their potential customers. At the very least get them curious enough to stop by and take a look. Then, let the product take it from there. "A 500+hp Caddie for half the price? WTF?" Kinda deal. The 'kids' will eat it up.

Fail: Bugatti Veyron Driven on Water I don't see a stupid pelican in the video of the crash. All I see is a massively powerful car steadily drifting out of its lane onto the mushy shoulder.
