2012 Corvette Z06 laps the Nürburgring [video] Yes the time is impressive, but I can't like the Vette. I had a few in my time and until Chevy can learn how to make an interior that isn't full of low-grade materials I will never consider another one. I'm a "red-blooded, patriotic American", but Italy and Germany still get my dollar vote for automobiles. There's nothing quite like the sound of the LP560's note at 8,000+ RPM and the feel and smell of Italian leather everywhere. I'm not saying the Gallardo interior isn't ready for a major overhaul, but American car companies need to get with the times and update the interiors to be comparable to the same level as European cars. Yes, a ZR-1 is faster than my Gallardo, but what's with that plastic bubble in the hood and "pleather" on the seats? Next goal....Aventador!

2011 BMW F10 M5 hits the Ring [video] Let's see any stock M5 keep pace with an LP560-4....Not even worth a mention. I had both older cars. A 2005 Gallardo and a 2006 M5. The M5 was a better top end car since the Gallardo had terrible gearing back then. My LP560 is so much quicker than the my '05. Lambo finally got it right. That said, I am a huge BMW fan as well and currently have the new 7 series. Awesome car. I would love to get the new M5 as a daily driver...the best of both worlds!

VW Passat CC Now Available as Five-Seater The 4 seat config forced me to get a BMW 750 instead of the much more desirable Panamera. We have 4 kids....I need a 5 seater (in addition to our full size 8 pass SUV). I see this differently than most on here. IMO a 4 door car should seat 5 with 4 seats being the option. I wish Porsche would offer the same.

Honda HSV-010 GT Officially Unleashed: Initial Specs Announced That's the problem...a motor that revs that high is useless on the street for the most part. I had the M5 and the M6 and had issue with the revs needed to really enjoy the car. The GT-R I just sold was great with lots of low-end power. It was very fun to drive around town. I just picked up an LP560 and my only wish is that it had even shorter gearing although it's a huge improvement over the 05 Gallardo I had a few years ago.

2011 Audi A8 Makes Public Debut in Detroit The interior is exemplary, but the exterior is boring. I'll stick with our 2010 M package 7 series.
