It came unstuck because rather than ensuring he was clear of Webber before he re-entered the racing line he just barged across when Webber was still along side him. End of the day, Webber was racing his line, Hamilton another, but Hamilton didn't check to see if he was clear to enter Webber's racing line before he barged across, and with him doing the overtaking, thats his responsibility. Hamilton's mistake, again.

Maybe BMW reserve the number 6 for their most aesthetically challenged models. And is it just me or is 14000 units a really tiny number. I mean the R&D costs must have been quite large, plus the cost of creating a new production line with new tooling. Seems unlikely that they could recover the costs involved with only 14000 sales over 5 years.
