Ruf Develops Electric Powered Porsche 911 that is definitely the WRONG way to go. you don't take an allready developed preexisting supercar (that is a legend of motoring history) and turn it "eco friendly" by adding tons of batteries. electric cars must be developed correctly froma scratch as was the Tesla Roadster and is the Lightning GT. who cares about engine sound.?. time to have some peace on the streets. and NO.!. no need to wait another 50 years for electric performance on the road. the Tesla Roadster is just the proof of that. & @ a much better price... wake up.!. - http://www.teslamotors.com/ - http://www.lightningcarcompany.co.uk/ p.s.: energy wouldn't be a problem if proper planning was taken for a correct power grid.
