2009 Acura RL Revealed in Chicago nickkop, the article is untrue because it left out this little detail that was in the press release: "first ever SOHC use of VTEC?? valvetrain actuation for both the intake and exhaust valves." Previous SOHC VTEC systems only worked for the intake valves, but this one acts upon both intake and exhaust just like the DOHC VTEC system.
