Porsche Takeover Of VW Imminent

Considering most parts for VWs, Audis, Seats & Porsches come out of very related, if not identical shelves, does it really make a difference? The original 356 was created on the basis of an original bug and the bug was created by Ferry Porsche himself. Blood's thicker than Water (or any japanese manufacturer who wanted to buy in :-))
