2009 Cadillac Escalades to Run On E85
June 9, 2008
Who ever came up with the idea of putting food into gas tanks is a moron. Do you think the worlds poorest countries are worried about gas prices or driving cars? No! They are worried about eating! Plus, per energy usage it is worse than oil. From the crops it takes to fill up one SUV tank, you can feed one person for a year. How smart is this! Dumb!
2009 Cadillac XLR Facelift Revealed
June 6, 2008
I like what the front page to the New Facelift SL550 says, "Revered, studied, collected, admired, praised but still unchallenged". This can't be more true.

Audi RS6 Sedan Spied
April 30, 2008
I agree about the AWD and getting power to the road. As far a turbos being more fun, the issue is lies with the lag response unlike a NA engine where the power is at all levels of the RPM band instantly with the mash of the pettle.
Audi RS6 Sedan Spied

The C63 is a lot lighter than the RS6 will be. Some magazines have tested the C63 and have got times down to 4.1 in 0-60. The Rs6 if not mistaken is to compete with the E63, which sits at 510hp naturally aspirated. I'm sure the 6.3 (6.2) AMG engine can produce more like in the CL63 @ 517hp. I will take a naturally aspirated engine over an "equal" HP engine, which is turbo or supercharged. A free breathing engine impresses me more than one with a turbo that has 80-100 more HP. The German HP wars? Merc just has to drop in the 65 engine in the E/CLS to dominate this segment or even better, show us what the new 6.3 AMG engine can really do!
Mercedes GLK Driving Footage
April 29, 2008
Benzian: The GLK is based on the new C class. Look at the inside layout. I'm not a fan of it but here in the US it will do well specially with the turbo 4cyc diesel engine and the way the gas prices are headed here.
Lexus "too Japanese" for the Japanese
March 22, 2008
I work in the industry and I had a client tell me the difference to the Germans and Japanese cars. He said the Germans have found a way to give a car a soul. The exterior and interior blend and have a soul when you drive them. The Japanese cars may look great on the outside with design but once you get a look of the interior it screams plastic Toyota and the drive does not accompany the overal package like the German cars. The S class is not only the best selling large luxury sedan it has always been the benchmark. LS460 over the S Class, first Lexus needs to work on their abysmal braking system on that car...from 60-0 in 209 feet! Are you kidding me!
