Anyone worth their salt in advertising should be aware; it's not what you're selling but how you sell it. BMW has the drivers onboard already; the three series is their entry-mid level car which is why these ads are designed to target a broader market and highlight the creature comforts in a humorous light rather than the driving dynamics. They make a humorous and refreshing change to the normal "ultimate driving machine" ads - usually a stereotypical alphamale cruising around a winding road.

From what i remember, if it'd been done straight away it would have knocked him back through the grid like everyone else. Instead he got clean air as was not held up by slower drivers so that when the penalty eventually came it was redundant. I think he slowed behind the safety car, which slowed Alonso up , the safety car pulled over and he took off. You'd be pissed too. Ferraris were very quick all weekend.

Red Bull may be new in comparison to Ferrari but they are not new and are not one of the teams Ferrari targeted. They also have Adrian Newey behind them which is of tremendous benefit. The majority of new teams are not up to speed. Ferrari have said nothing of the sort regarding Red Bull and what they said regarding the new teams has zero relevance to the performance of RBR.
