Chevy Volt to be sold alongside the Opel / Vauxhall Ampera in Europe That's interesting, I beleive GM will eventually rebrand all Vauxhalls and Opels with Chevrolet as it becomes their worldwide brand. At the moment it's almost like British Leyland were in the 70's and 80's with several brand names,Austin,Morris,Riley,MG etc on the same car.

Audi launches A4 2.0 TDI - averages 4.4 L/100km The fuel comsumption is not that special. I drive an 8 year old Audi 1,9 Tdi SE Avant. I had it re-mapped a couple of years ago. My long term average on short urban trips is 58.5mpg. The power is up to 170bhp. On a long motorway trips I can average over 70mpg. Why can't Audi do this to new cars?

Vauxhall Reveal New Logo If GM had any marketing sense they would re-brand all their european car business Chevrolet and do away with Vauxhall and Opel which are totally insignificant in global terms.This brand idealy reflects it's American roots but with an exotic european name and would remove the existing confusion caused by having the same cars with different badges.
