Audi A1 Body Design Teaser [Video] Frankly from the teaser info given I couldn’t care less. Believe me this will be another dull as ditchwater Audi. I’ve no time for a brand that gets away with design and styling the way it does. Same look, all cars, bad move. (for creativity at least) sure it will be beautifully built and wonderfully engineered. Audi may sell a hell of a lot of cars, but they don’t sell to those of us who crave design excitement.

Audi to Create Sedan Variant of A3 Exclusively for U.S. Market - report It’s one thing being well engineered (which I am sure Audis are) but let’s not get too carried away how understated, elegant, reserved etc etc they are in terms of their styling. They have a blueprint for their design language that has been spread waaaaay too thinly over too many cars. Not to mention the niche models that blur into “what the hell is the point of this?” The fact of the matter is their cars look the same from the impending A1 up to the A8. The exception is the TT. But even this in its mk1 version is more of a looker in my opinion, with its solid industrial design look rather than the softened and more feminine looking version now. I’m talking about the design of Audis only because I am a designer and believe me their same old formula has become beyond tiring. I couldn’t imagine working in their design studios. It would be too frustrating.

Nissan Planning 2 New Sub-Compact Cars in U.S. for $10,000 i have to agree. i love the brand and reckon the current micra still stands out even now compared to alot of current small cars. this one is deffo a step back. hope its not coming to europe. it already looks dated and derivitive. get it sorted nissan!

Peugeot SR1 Concept Car Revealed well its good to see the old pug trying out a different direction in design. mikeado was spot on with the "garish freaks" comment! the design itself is hit and miss. some cool detailing (that will be heavily watered down for production) and some detailing thats not sucessful. overall a goodeffort but the next concept fromthemwill show us exactly where theyre going in detail...
