VW Golf VI GTI Gets 11hp More & GTI-R to Replace R32 The Jetta is much more than just a Golf sedan,it is the third highest seller in the entire VW empire,and last year sold 630000 units world wide. In adition over 8 million have been sold since its launch. This model is now made in Mexico,China,and South Africa,as well as in the huge developing markets of India and Russia,so the new Jetta will be crucial to VW s future success.

VW Jetta BlueTDI to Debut Midyear in North America I cannot wait to get a new Jetta TDI.They should sell like hot cakes.Will be available in the sedan and sport wagon from late July.

Brazilian Chevrolet Vectra Gets New Version After having an Astra sedan for a few years deceided to trade it in on a new Jetta,as it had a far superior interior,with lots of safety and luxury equipment. I think it is classier than the Vectra,and am happy I switched over to VW.

Volkswagen Targets Toyota with 4 New Platforms I have owned a Camry...as well as 4 Jettas...and the Jettas are fun to drive...have lots of luxury and safety features...look great and have excellent resale values. I think by comparison Toyotas are dull and boring. Give me any VW any day.

Toyota Shows Corolla S3 at SEMA Have Toyota benchmarked Volkswagen with the new Corolla as it looks very much like the new Jetta A5...although not nearly as good looking as the VW this time around. They should both sell millions world wide. This must be the new IN look.Quite boxy.

Volkswagen Plans US Offensive I think Volkswagen are on a roll worldwide...but in America they need 3 models urgently. 1.The Jetta TDI sedan . 2.The Jetta sports wagon. 3.The Tiguan. With an American plant making Jettas for America...and vMexico at full capacity...their sales estimated should be reached. I hope so. Love VWs .Find Toyotas bland dull and conservative.

New Opel Astra Notchback: In Depth This car looks very upmarket compared to the previous Astra sedan. Opel seems to be following the same route Volkswagen took with the JETTA...and they should be direct competitors and both sell in the thousands. Opel might look at the Jettas success in other markets such as America and China as an examlpe.
