2013 BMW 7-Series facelift revealed [video] Still attractive, loving the aggression in the headlight design (certainly won't want it creeping up on me in a dark alley) interior looks fantastic as always, and If I could afford one, I would have a hell of a lot of fun playing around with the speedometer if indeed interchangeable. One thing that doesn't make a lot of sense is the diesel produces more power and torque than the hybrid, thus being faster (the diesel won't have to lug around a heavy hybrid drivetrain) so how could they justify the hybrid's existence? I'd have a 750d in black please. Perfect long distance companion, and the DVD set up in the back will be perfect to shut the kids up for a few hours. :)

2014 BMW M3 / M4 (F80/82) inline-6 turbo engine confirmed Glad to see the I6 back in the M3. Not so keen on the turbos mind you, but that seems to be the way, politically speaking. The V8 was a cracking engine as well and will be sad to see it go. Much happier with the 6.

Boris Said to pilot electric-powered BMW M3 at 2012 Pikes Peak Why is it? At the end of the day this is a one off project which they could potentially use at BMW. Think on it like this, BMW has already 'tainted' the M-badge by using turbo chargers in their latest models. Who's to say that they won't be using hybrid technology next, hydrogen fuel cells or even fully electric models in the near future? So long as the car is able to deliver on the handling and performance, then it shouldn't really matter.
