STARTECH Takes on Range Rover and Freelander 2
September 29, 2009
Startech are basically Brabus, but for non-Mercedes based vehicles, such as Dodge, Chrysler etc.
2010 Jaguar XJ Officially Revealed
July 9, 2009
Oh Jaguar, what have you done? I was a big fan of the old XJ. It was cool looking, different from the rest of the pack and imposing. This new one though, I'm not so sure. It looks alot like an XF upfront, and from the sides, which I suppose isn't a bad thing, but the rear is hugely out of proportion. That overhang is too big. It was too big on the old XJ too, but the rear on that car was narrow and had a low profile, but this new one is way too fat. It just looks out of place.
BMW 7 Series Hybrid Prototype Hits the Ring
June 25, 2009
BMW is definately a performance driven manufacturer, but these cars don't really focus on that. If BMW made a performance based 7 series, it would not bode well for their main consumer base, which buy the car mainly for its executive factor. Therefore, performance has little say for these cars.
To be honest, Lexus definately has a head start on all manufacturers. Toyota has been in the hybrid game much longer, and it is only natural for them to have better developed their hybrid technologies.
Brabus Enhanced Mercedes E-Class Coupe Unleashed with 462hp
May 23, 2009
Well, in reponse to sugar-ray's post, ubercool does just post the same things everytime. The days when the E63 AMG was released, he was posting all over the shop, with his XFR. Thing is, whilst the XFR is good, its nowhere near as cool as the E63 or the coupe. And, a problem with Jaguars have been a cheapness in the past, and this is still ever present with the XFR, with use of old Ford switch gear and the like.
On to this whole Mercedes, Audi, BMW matter; well, they all innovate. I think its unfair to say that one is a whole lot better than the rest. They all have their strong points. Mercedes' S-class has consistently been the technologically advanced in its class, whereas the BMW M5 has always been good in compeiting with its rivals (but then again, it has a lot of pedigree). Audi have also stepped up to the mark with their S5, which I personally love, if a little boring to look at.
First Mercedes E-Class Coupe Delivered

Ubercool's comment just shows you how out of touch with reality he really is. This car is seriously cool, and has alot of the other cars on the market completely kicked. I'm sorry, but I'm young and I like it. Does that class me and a golden oldy?
Barcelona Grand Prix Produces More of the Same - Spoiler
May 10, 2009
It wasn't Hamilton who gave us a good season last year, and the one before that. It was the epic battle between him and Massa and before that, him and Alonso. I'm sure if it was Hamilton in the driving seat of the Brawn, then this season would be no different.
Overall, it has been a complete role reversal, but nonetheless, has been a little boring at times. The other teams still have a bit of improvements to make if the are to really compete.
Rain Soaked Chinese Grand Prix Historic One-Two Finish - SPOILER
April 19, 2009
This season so far has been briliant. Apaprt from the diffuser row and McLaren's "liegate", its been a complete reversal from last year. I do hope this immense competition still continues.
One more thing of note; Ferrari are doing exceptionally poor. Reliability and poor driving has cost them yet again. I see McLaren's cars are getting faster, as are Toytota's and even the Red Bulls, but Ferrari are still way oit there at the back. Hurry up and prepare a decent car next race :P
Well done to both Webber and Vettel on this outstanding result for them.
2010 Mercedes S63 AMG & S65 AMG Facelifts Revealed
April 15, 2009
I see your point about the design. I haven't seen it, but then again, not many other people have either. Its unfair to criticise or promote the design, because virtually no one has seen it. We'll just have to wait until it gets released. But, my own liking lies towards to the CLS. I just find it more attractive. thats the problem with looks; beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
On the performance front, the same applies. We have not seen what the Panamera can do, so I guess it was wrong of me to say the CLS is faster. But if its going to compete with the M5, E63, CLS63 and other cars that are being developed, it will need to be lightweight and powerful.
In the end though, someone choosing from these cars isn't just going to judge performance. They will look at the other factors and what they want from a car.

It used to be owned by Ford, up until around 2008, if I remember correctly. It is currently owned by Tata.

We've already discussed this, lol. The E63 is simple the better overall package. It has comfort, massive speed, and its so much more cooler than the boring XFR.
