Not that I can afford one of these... it would take selling quite a bit of what I got, house, cars, wife, kids, an organ or two, and livestock. But tell me why the Spyder version has to look like some kit car? If I lived in a cave (with no Internet), I would be totally duped if someone said that this was a kit car based off some hopped up American donor car underpinnings.

jackjack, I would love to see the "blacked-out" look carried over to the wheels. Maybe a dark powder coated set. Not dark (black), but something in a dark grey. I agree that the rims just don't fit with the rest of the visual changes.

gmfan09, I am not saying you are full of yourself. It is carcrazy1234 who states that Americans are full of themselves. Go back up and read his 11:15:34 PM post. He sounds pompous and arrogant, which are two things that red flag a person as "full of themselves". I agree with you that people will buy what they want. This is one thing that Eurocentric observers fail to see when looking at the U.S. auto market. Just like in Europe, consumers choose what sells. No offense to you.

I keep forgetting why I don't usually visit the comments section of this site. The continuous back and forth about how superior the U.S. is or how backwards it is gets boring. All most posters show when spouting their respective opinion is their obvious blind bias. Carcrazy1234, you seem so full of yourself when pointing out how superior Euro and Japanese cars are compared to American autos. And gmfan09 does not speak for all of America. Look at the sales numbers for smaller cars (on the increase) and our reduced miles traveled month after month. Obviously some of us "full of ourselves" Americans get it.

So, if I were to compare the two kinds of extreme being protrayed in this add, am I to decide they are similar or opposites. It is extreme to run your fist up the ass of some animal, but do I really think it is extreme to drive a JWC Mini? Do I want to purchase a car from a company that hopes I can correlate the two extremes and feel compelled to consider their car after seeing this ad? The ad is only extreme in how stupid marketing executives can be when using their lack of judgement when approving such ads.

Mr Mogo... take some slow, deep breaths. By the way, Honda owns Acura, not Lexus or Infiniti. I will agree that Lexus' vehicles have certain european design elements worked into their design. It is not BMW that they "copy", but M-B. BMW has been setting the benchmark for years and pulling in trumpeting, hot-at-the-collar, blow bags like you for just as long. I will stick with my more neutral, relaxed, and classic Lexus design. My heart and blood pressure prefer it.

No mood raising going on here. My wife caught a peek at the picture with this guy posing with the fur coat on and her mood has been damaged for several days. Artists are usually eccentric, but this guy is over the top. I also have to wonder why he is not wearing an iota of safety equipment when handling the PU. Maybe that would not be fashionable in his mind.
