Chevrolet El Camino comeback possible - report
May 2, 2011
As an Australian, I am glad that we are possibly exporting another of our great cars. I just hope that the Americans don't call it an 'All-American icon' like they did with the Pontiac GTO, which is actually a Holden Monaro. Australia makes the best-value large rear-wheel drive cars and the world needs to know. Our cars are so brilliant that even the American police forces are placing orders for the Holden Caprice ( Australia's S-class rival ) as a replacement for the underpowered and crap-handling Ford Crown Victoria and Chevrolet Impala. If you want a great-value large rear wheel drive car, we Australians can help.
Driver runs from buring V8 Supercar in Australian race [video]
May 2, 2011
What happened there was that the race started and Karl Reindler ( sitting in 12th I believe ) had stauled on the grid. Steve Owen, who started near the back of the grid, had started and he didn't see Reindler until the car infront of him had dodged round; leaving Owen with no option. The estimated speed of the impact was 150km/h ( 94mph ) and the V8 Supercars run on Sucrogen, which is a higher-burning bio-ethonol fuel. The boot ( or 'trunk' if you're American ) not only contains the fuel tank, but the battery and electrical relays too; hence the huge explosion.
Lancia Thema is imported from Detroit
March 3, 2011
I'm just grateful that Lancia didn't start importing the last of the previous-gen 300C's, cause that would've just been an utter disaster with huge collateral damage. What Lancia also needs to do is import the Hemi V8s; both in normal 5.7litre and 6.4litre SRT8 guise. Cause imagine then if the Lancia Thema SRT8 ( yes, I know it's a frigging Chrysler ) was faster than the much more expensive Maserati Quattroporte GTS...

And if I had my way, one of those 500 units would be in my garage; with the supercharged petrol V8 :D .
2012 Hyundai Genesis facelift graces Chi-town

WTF?! Has the boss of Hyundai ( a company generally known for its utter dullness and crapness ) suddenly mixed up a concoction of viagra mixed with steroids and chucked in a litre of energy drink? 5.0litres with 429bhp?! Ok, I'm listening...
2013 Mercedes S-Class spied in Germany

@ benz man: We Australians are a wee lil bit angry because our Prime Minister Julia Gillard and her predeccessor, Kevin Rudd, have put the Australian economy from having a AUD$96Billion surplus into a AUD$412Billion debt in a space of four years. Now considering that there are only 22.5million Australians ( roughly 50% of the population of California ), that's a pretty big debt whichever way you look at it. Also she is about to introduce a 'Carbon Tax' which'll end the Australian agricultural industry because Australia is the ONLY country in the 1st world to not have a subsidised agricultural industry - so basically my father who busts his arse every day for a meagre living is about to be bankrupted. @Hellbound: She is not only awful to watch, but also awful to listen to; especially when she called me an 'unsustainable Australian', because I drive a Holden Caprice V8 just like hers ( only mine is tuned and is better ). @DUCATI46: If you're not Australian, then I am glad that you are aware of the recent floods and cyclone that has shaken the state of Queensland to the core. My sister and brother in-law live in Cairns ( Australia's small version of Miami if you like ) and fortunately that city was spared the full-bore 300km/h ( 186mph ) gusts. Unfortunately due to the weather activity there, the price of many foods is set to rise by 20-64% ( depending on what produce you buy ) and fuel prices are set to rise by up to 25%. One question I must ask, especially during the Queensland floods, is where the hell was the UN while all this devastation happened?

As far as styling goes, I'll reserve my judgment until Merc removes the camo. What I'm more worried about is the powertrain, cause I don't want my future S-Class to be a bloody hybrid; I want my S-class to still have a monstrous V12. The Australian Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, has already said that her Holden Caprice V8 will be superceeded by a Toyota Camry hybrid ( OH FFS!!! ).
Supercharged FPV Ford Falcon GT-H spied

Well HEMI426, you can also get a 4.0litre in-line 6 with this car. It's available in naturally-aspirated form or turbo-charged. Ford Performance Vehicles ( Ford Aus's version of Shelby ) has the turbo-charged 6-cylinder developing 310kilowatts ( about 414bhp ), and 0-100km/h ( 0-62mph ) takes just 5seconds dead. Look up www.ford.com.au/falcon or www.FPV.com.au if you wanna have a look and see what we Aussies do best with 4-doors and REAR-WHEEL-DRIVE!!!
2012 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 to debut in Chicago - report
January 26, 2011
Well Homerlovesbeer, yes you can and yes it will. You see, despite the commercials saying that this is an 'All-American icon', the truth of the matter is that the exterior was designed by a South Korean ( NOT A NORTH KOREAN, SARAH PALIN ), but most importantly the car was designed and engineered by us Australians at General Motors Holden. As an Australian I can say that we not only love going over 200 down a straight line, but we also love going over 200 through the corners - SIDEWAYS!!! So rest assured Homerlovesbeer, this new Z28 will go round corners :D
