Nissan Juke-R priced at $590K I have to agree with Mikeado here. If you have alot of money and want to buy a high performance supercar, this is not the one you get. If you are Jay Leno, and have enough supercars to fill a country the size of Cyprus, then you buy this one as it is a quite amazing, unique and nuts pocket rocket.

Well done Volvo - the brand is re-emerging from the doldrums with some excellent alternatives to mainstream dull cars.

Certainly it looks like a strong, well built car, and that is a real Volvo value, and one that will appeal to anyone looking for a family car. I would say when you compare it to its peers - Golf (excellent, but so drab, particularly inside), BMW 1 series (should have been put down at birth) etc, it makes a refreshing change.

All New Peugeot 208 revealed [video] I'd had a few cars in my time, buy my favourite by a mile, was my white 205 GTI 1.6. Nothing I have driven since could match it. Golf GTI? Pah! The Pug would out handle anything. And then what happened? Peugeot lost the ability to design beautiful cars, and cars that handle beautifully. Now I am looking at the 208 photos and thinking... fabulous. The small steering wheel and a wheel on each corner of the car should mean one thing - handling. A small Pug that handles well... OMG... Am I excited about a possible GTI version? What do you think! At last, lets hope a sucessor to the glorious 205 GTI is coming. In the meantime, hats off to Peugeot (or rather beret)... RCZ, 508, and now 208. The marque is back.

Nissan aiming for two new speed records Whilst I agree with everyone here that the Juke isn't the prettiest vehicle in the world, it does possess something. In an age of corporate blandness (Audi A4, A6, A8 etc), it is refreshing to have a manufacturer who is prepared to be original, even if the result is butt ugly!
