Toyota confirms Prius had brake design problems I always recommended Mitsubishi and still will be recommending Mitsubishi. Outlander V6 is a beautiful car. The Lancer is good not to mention the Evo X.

Toyota confirms Prius had brake design problems This is not good at all...... they have admitted that they knew about the problem but decided not to issue a recall yet?!!?!? It sounds like to me they were more interested in keeping their reputation intact by not issuing this recall while they were having such heavily publicized problems but chose to wait. Just because nobody has died from this problem they didn't deem it urgent even though this fault affects a major component of the vehicle. This looks like it is a corporation that doesn't care about the welfare of it's customers and only about it's reputation........ I am appalled and saddened by what is happening with this whole situation. I studied Toyota while at university including their fundamental philosophy called the Toyota Way (google it) and it seems that a select few and their selfish decisions have begun to unwind what has taken Toyota nearly 50 years to build........ If decisions like this are any indication to what is going on in Toyota today then they deserve what's coming to them.

Former lawyer accuses Toyota of concealing safety issues I do respect Toyota greatly.... but somehow this doesn't surprise me at all...... When you are that big, you will do anything to stay that way. This totally goes against their Toyota Way philosophy which is what got them to the position of greatness they were in for the past decade. If this trouble erodes trust in Toyota it may take them many years to get it back.... look at what happened with Mitsubishi as an example
