New Hyundai Genesis Emblem Revealed and V8 Confirmed Wow, a symbol creates this much drama? I agree that branding is one of the most important part of selling an up-market vehicle. Lexus and Infiniti prove this theory. I really do think that Hyundai should think about Genesis as a brand, not as a Hyundai. Outside of Korean or Asian markets it could be a bit too muddled of a message. Another thought for you all to consider: Just a decade ago Hyundai could barely make a decent sedan or hatch... and they are leaping past the American brands and many of the European brands in initial quality surveys. Watch out... the Koreans are coming faster than you think!
