Maybach Xenatec 57S Coupe - start, rev, drive [video] Okay, so where do you guys figure out that this is based on an old Mercedes CL? Because that is clearly wrong! It is, as mentioned on the data sheet in the video based on the Maybach 57 S. This car has nothing to do with a CL! And yes, the instrumentcluster does come from the W220/W215 models, because the Maybach is technically based on the W220 S-class. Do you really think that you will get the same interior space by "modyfying" an ordinary CL coup?? And also, do you think that people will buy a CL with Maybach badges?? This is based on the Maybach, NOT CL. Anyway it looks great! I really hoped that Xenatec would help boost the sales, so Maybach could continue building the worlds finest automobiles.

2013 Mercedes SL officially unveiled I think it looks really good! Its hard to judge a design just from pictures, but this looks very promising! Like many of the new Mercedes cars, you have to look at it more than just one time before you "get used" to the lines and angles.
