Mazda RX-8 Facelift In Detail The RX8 uses slightly more than a GTI / ST / OPC, which is in the same powerrange. You cannot get another car of that niveu for that money (RWD, LSD, perfect balance etc), no compare to the hothatches ... The next cars that match the driving of an RX8 cost double the money. So RX8 will sell always, even with that tax, cause it is just cheap in everything (and there are no 5L/100km cars with some power under the hood ... I see you ain't informed, what happens with the RX8 in Europe at all, the old one was selling as warm bread exactly now at the end. Too bad only England gets the facelift for now .....
