Maybach lost ?330K on every model - report
February 9, 2012
?330k times 3,000 equals ?990M of production costs over lifespan. Let's call it ?1B. Plus the ?1B in initial investment (R&D, dealerships, etc), that makes ?2B. So to break even, they would have needed to sell approximately twice what they sold.
Steve Jobs: an icon remembered
October 7, 2011
This comment is uncalled for. This site does not have to abide by some type of affirmative action towards anyone who dies. Jobs is remembered for being a genius that touched us all, even those who did not know his name. We feel the pain of the Japanese victims (and all who pass before their due time), but this is apples to oranges (no pun intended).

Not going to be the twin turbo v8, but rather the NA one inside SLK AMG.

As a news site, you should take more caution to dedicate at least a paragraph to what was being proposed more specifically. This article does not inform fully.

It was more like the Veyron of this day, as its top speed had not been seen previously, as well as its technology and engine.
Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series confirmed
September 20, 2011
AMG will keep the SLS Black old-school. One reporter at AMG shops got solid hints from engineers that their 6.3L NA V8 was far from done. I expect 600+PS and a seriously reduced weight, although this last one goes only so far, as the car is trim already.
New Bugatti boss puts the Galibier 16C on ice
September 7, 2011
Right move from Bugatti CEO. The Galibier was definitely "tame" as an exercise after the still undisputed Veyron, which is the point of the brand.
As for tailpipes, please give it a Veyron style central unified one. As they are, the tailpipes are very tacky.
Rotary Supercars promises to beat Veyron Super Sport
August 25, 2011
There seems to be at least one tuner a week that sets out to build a super car. It makes it pretty clear that, though many try, very few are those that stand the test of time (Zonda, Koenniggssegg, etc).

Pay attention until the end. The guy turns out to be an insurance auditor testing the jeweler's security.
Cadillac Converj concept gets green-lighted - report
August 12, 2011
A great replacement for my efficient car when current Elantra lease expires (in 2014). A great looker! I love watching the current CTS coupes on the road, this has that design and the even more attractive small car factor. I hope they make one with regular gasoline, or at least non-plugin hybrid.
