Mercedes A25 AMG to get at least 335hp
February 9, 2012
Asking about manual MBs when none have been made in your country for decades is not very logical. Get something else. Love, Narco.
Mercedes SLC likely to be green-lighted - report
February 7, 2012
Interesting to see how this would be positioned and marketed vs. the SL, which outside of having the manual trans, seems to already be somewhat of a 911 competitor for most market segments.

@ Dolomight 74-86- To respond to your response above, believe me, no one wants a manual more than me, and I see your logic. However, although MB tends to somewhat mimic competitors along engine sizes and horsepower, they tend to be very consistent with their transmissions. MB has absolutely no manual cars in its repetoire, and has been following this policy for at least a decade. Even the SLR has no manual. I find it hard to believe they would change their policy for a non-sports car, even if it is an AMG model. Cadillac just got rid of their manual on the CTS, except for the V model. The 2015 R8 will not have a manual either. Further still: M5=manual, E63=no manual / M3=manual, C63=no manual / Z4=manual, SLK=no manual. I see where you were trying to go, and my point wasn't that I don't want one..it was that I can't see them doing a one-off for this car when the luxury performance industry itself is moving toward 3rd-pedal apprehension. However please keep in mind I am only talking US-spec. I've driven the previous A-class in europe as a diesel rental and it had a manual.

PAA sounds like the type that acts before they think... There is no way I am Narc'ing on a F1 Exec. Anyone dumb enough to take the first swing on a boss deserves what they get, plain and simple. I'm all about friendship, but not to the point where is screws me over. Lewis is a smart man to stay low until this whole thing works itself out. Love, Narco.
2013 BMW M6 GranCoupe gets rendered
January 20, 2012
Actually you are singing the same tune that many others seem to think. However do a google and take a look at Bangle-era cars and then compare them to this. You will find that alot of his design principles are in this car. He was the one who started the high-shoulder, non-symmetric lines on cars that has been copied by every manufacturer to this day. This all started with the X1 coupe concept. I've liked Bangle's designs not because I think everyone is fantastic, but because he was willing to push the envelope and take a risk in design when others were too scared to do so... Fishes, Narco.
BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe on the street looking real
December 27, 2011
I want to like this car... but it's like they didn't even try to make it distinctive. If I'm in the market for a "4 door coupe", I want it to grab attention - I want it to compensate for all my male shortcomings...with some left over to compensate for yours too. I'm certainly not buying it for the rear seat headroom. But with competition out there really taking risks, I don't see this as a head-turner. Certain people will buy it because of the spinning propeller on the hood, and being built on the same platform, it's good business because you can charge premium pricing at the same costs - but I just don't see the "why" that someone should buy this over a Panamera/A7/CLS.

Maybach axed, last models slated for 2013 - report
November 26, 2011
I believe that even with a new platform, the Maybach would still have had sales troubles.
